The Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center was founded by Dr. Christopher Kruse, a well respected Mohs surgeon with an excellent reputation for the highest levels of patient satisfaction. His vision was to form a dermatologic patient care center which would deliver quality care, ensuring that all patients would have peace of mind knowing that they will receive the best possible care and treatment. Dr. Christopher Kruse is a board-certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon who graduated from New York University (NYU) School of Medicine where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his Dermatology residency at State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, spending his last year as chief resident.
Dr. Kruse practiced general Dermatology in both New York and New Jersey for three years before pursuing formal training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Dr. Kruse completed the prestigious post-doctoral fellowship in Mohs Micrographic & Reconstructive Surgery approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery, which requires its members to participate in at least a full year of training with hands-on experience after already completing a full four-year residency.
Dr. Kruse also taught Dermatologic Surgery at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System in Brooklyn for many years. He is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Kruse has been practicing dermatology for over 15 years. As a Mohs surgeon, he prides himself on his precision and his extreme attention to detail. This, along with his patient-centric approach, has made Dr. Kruse one of the most sought-after Mohs surgeons in New Jersey. Mohs surgery is a highly specialized technique for removing skin cancers that provides a superior cure rate for the most common skin cancers. Dr. Kruse has performed more than 13,000 Mohs surgeries and subsequent reconstruction surgeries on the face and other areas of the body and has an outstanding patient satisfaction record.
Dr. Gorin is a board-certified dermatologist who graduated Cum Laude from the University of Richmond, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM) receiving the “Excellence in Humanities Award”.
Dr. Gorin pursued an Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut, and then completed her residency training in Dermatology at St Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York. She served as Chief Resident in her third year of residency. Dr. Gorin serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at UMDNJ-SOM, is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. Dr. Gorin has been in private practice since 2004 providing general medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care. She treats patients of all ages and has experience with a diversity of ethnic skin types. Her practice philosophy is to deliver thorough, high-quality care in a warm and friendly environment.
Dr. Cannon is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Haverford College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry. She participated in research in pediatrics and nephrology prior to starting medical school. Dr. Cannon received her medical education at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (formerly Jefferson Medical College) and completed her Internal Medicine internship at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to complete her residency training in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University, Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology, Philadelphia, PA, serving as a co-chief resident during her third year of residency.
Dr. Cannon has co-authored articles in journals, including the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Journal of Perinatology, and Pediatric Annals. Dr. Cannon is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Cannon has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology, a field in which she has a special interest. Her cosmetic expertise includes Botox injections, dermal fillers, Ultherapy, Kybella, Fraxel, Cellfina and Laser/IPL skin resurfacing.
Dr. Shilpa Agarwal is a dermatologist specializing in general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and individualized care for every one of her patients. Her areas of expertise include acne, psoriasis, skin cancer screenings and dermatologic conditions in skin of color. Dr. Agarwal also offers an extensive array of cosmetic procedures including non-invasive skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, laser surgery, Botox injections and dermal fillers.
Dr. Agarwal is originally from the DC area and a magna cum laude graduate of the prestigious B.S./M.D. program at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Agarwal stayed at the George Washington University Hospital for her internship year in internal medicine. She then completed her dermatology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in New Jersey, serving as chief resident during her last year. Dr. Agarwal has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapter during her training. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Oram is a board-certified dermatologist who sees patients of all ages. Dr. Oram graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. He attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Oram then completed a traditional rotating internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA. Dr. Oram subsequently served on active duty in the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Surgeon. He was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station New River, NC and was assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461 and Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron 302. He completed several shipboard and ground deployments. He is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dr. Oram went on to residency training in Dermatology at the Lehigh Valley Health Network where he served as Chief Dermatology Resident. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow and member of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, and the Philadelphia Dermatological Society. His dermatologic training spans the range of surgical, cosmetic, and general dermatology. Dr. Oram is happily married and has recently become a father. He and his family are happy to return to New Jersey.
Dr. Vitaly Terushkin is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University and subsequently attended New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. During medical school, he spent a year conducting clinical research in cutaneous oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received the Marion B. Sulzberger Award for Excellence in Dermatology.
After completing an internship in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, he returned to NYU for his dermatology training where he served as a Chief Resident during his final year. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Terushkin sought additional specialized training and completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology under the mentorship of Drs. Zitelli and Brodland. Dr. Terushkin has authored multiple articles in cutaneous oncology and laser surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American College of Mohs Surgery. He is fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish.
Patricia McTaggart is an NCCPA board-certified and NJ state-licensed Physician Assistant. She is a graduate of the Rutgers University Physician Assistant (PA) program where she graduated with honors in 2006. Patricia gained valuable experience as a PA while working for two years in the emergency department of Lakewood NJ’s Kimball Medical Center and four years as a per diem PA in the ER of Brick NJ’s Ocean Medical Center. She began her career in dermatology in 2008 and serves adults, adolescents, and pediatric patients. She is extensively trained in clinical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Patricia is a member of the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants, and a diplomate member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Patricia is also fluent in Spanish.

Lori Titner is a licensed skin care specialist and has been practicing Esthetics in the state of New Jersey since 2007. Lori graduated from Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics in 2007, where she studied, skin care, facial treatments, body procedures and makeup techniques. Lori has a great deal of experience with regards to skin care treatments, regimens and products and an excellent understanding of the cosmetic procedures offered at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center. Lori is certified and has a great deal of experience in Hydrafacials, regular facials, Dermaplaning and peels.

Marjory Pante is a board certified Permanent Makeup Artist working in our MediSpa. Marjory was trained at The Beau Institute for Permanent Makeup, Microblading and Salt Removal, where she completed her apprenticeship. Marjory also trained at The Jhon Jhon Institute for Microblading and Eliminink (Tattoo Removal) and is trained in Elleebana Eyelash Lift and Tint. Marjory is a member of The American Academy of Micropigmentation. She has a passion for makeup, beauty, and esthetics and she continues to further her education and training in this space by regularly attending training sessions and conferences.
Rachel Ben-zvy is our Esthetics and Marketing Manager for our Medi-Spa here at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center. Rachel has a true passion for people and cosmetics, as she truly believes every person should feel confident in their own skin. She has over 10 years of experience in makeup artistry, design, photography, skin care, network marketing, spa managing, social media, and event planning. With her expertise in the spa industry, Rachel knows the ins and outs of the spa world. Dana has been working for the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center as an LPN since 2013. She is a highly skilled nurse, who studied nursing at Savannah Technical College. Prior to coming to us she worked as a nurse at one of the United States military hospitals. She now manages the DSCC clinical staff and coordinates Dr. Kruse’s surgery schedule.
